General Course Guide |
LABs (Learn And Build skills) at BLLC are typically twice-a-week sessions for 12 weeks in a particular subject. Our teachers work on a ratio of up to 1:3 per subject, provided that students are well-matched and working at the same level in the same subject. Most LABs are presented 1:1, though. Unless otherwise indicated, the cost of each LAB is $895. LABs are ongoing throughout the year.
Mini-LABs are once-a-week sessions for eight weeks. The cost of each Mini-LAB series is $240 and a minimum enrollment of 3 students must be met. The maximum enrollment for each Mini is 4. There is not a follow-up diagnostic math skills assessment performed for the Mini.
You may enroll at any time of year for the following:

Saturday Creative Series |
| Don't miss these opportunities to learn to cook, learn a craft like floral design, card-, jewelry- or print-making. We have a web and desktop publishing class taught by a seasoned writer and graphic designer, as well as a professional seamstress/actress/videographer teaching how to sew clothes and costumes. Video & Me helps students to gain confidence in front of a camera and offers a richly rewarding experience in their ability to express emotions and receive audience/peer feedback. For more information on any of these classes, go to the 2003-04 Course Guide or e-mail the Center. |
